This is sort of an Illustration Friday, sort of a vent. My mother was diagnosed with Superficial Siderosis, and this is kind of a coping illustration. Not really very scientific, but this is how I see my mother's memories- like a rose hidden in thorns. Difficult to get to.
The human body is a very fragile thing, just the slightest imbalance or foreign object can cause it to malfunction, and it's scary.
Wishing the best for your mother and for you. At least you can help carry some of those memories for her.
