More ragdoll cats!

I've been working on some new designs to add to my shop, The Little Ragdoll cat. I felt like I needed more Ragdoll cat themed illustrations!

I'm still here

It's been a bit hectic lately- we're moving home soon, and I've been super busy!

My new fabric arrived!

And I think I'm quite pleased with it- Viscera, hedgehogs, and ragdoll cats.  I'm going to donate a portion of my profit from the stuff I make with the ragdoll fabric to the  British Ragdoll Cat Club's rehoming program.

Logos.

So I've updated my shop logo- mostly because my old one was rendered in ink, and I've been thinking more long term, in that I needed a vector image, so I went ahead and made one. I'm not going to change the branding of my bags just yet though, I think I'm going to save that for when I get married and actually change my name.

Ragdoll pattern

This is a pattern that I've been working on and off at for a while. At first I couldn't decide on the effect that I wanted to go with, I played around a little with pencil and ink, but in the end decided to take my sketches and make vector drawings out of them. I am hoping, if all goes well, to make a skirt out of this design.

I've started updating my website

So I changed the hamster on my home-page to my ragdoll cat, Moomin.

Moomin Playing the Violin

So I made a painting of my ragdoll cat, Moomin, playing the violin. It's now sold, but I think that I might do myself a little series of (maybe ragdoll) cats playing classical instruments. My friend and I were thinking of putting together a little exhibition of cats, so we'll see!

So I'm designing some more cards for the cat club

And maybe to sell at my own stall too. Here's a Christmas card I'm in the middle of fiddling around with. I like it when I can make bright red cards, and I feel that I have a reason to do so, although it's a little bit early to be feeling festive...

So I've just ordered these designs that I've made for the Ragdoll Cat Club- hopefully they should be here soon!

 I didn't pass my interview for SSF, but at least that means that the other person that applied to the post will have it :-) 

Ragdoll cat paintings that I'm selling

So I decided to do a series of paintings to sell, as I'm a little bit low on money. I decided on ragdolls, as I have a ragdoll cat right here, and it was a  good excuse to do some feline studies- I must get a cat skeleton when we have a bigger place... I've sold one of these paintings, the blue one- I'm hoping that I sell some more. I've done them as mixed media, with ink, graphite, coloured pencils and watercolour.
